Boycott Divestment & Sanctions in the British land trades
As workers in Britain, SALT understands that the settler-colonial project of Israel would not be possible without the support of the British state and its industries, past and present.
SALT therefore understands that the most effective boycott of Israel in a country like Britain is an industrial boycott led by the workers.
For this reason, we as workers and trade unionists in the land-trades sector are calling for total boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) of Israel in support of the Palestinian resistance movement. SALT has developed a list of targets in our industries who are in different ways complicit with Israel’s genocide and calls on all land workers to adhere to the BDS of these targets and organise their workplaces to do the same.
